How to get your skin care routine in the right order

Step 1: Remove makeup
If you wear makeup, this step should always be the first, no matter what your overall *skincare routine order* is. For sensitive skin or just to save time, try using micellar water instead of traditional makeup removers. Micellar water is super-gentle, but also highly effective at removing makeup and stubborn build-up. To take resistant waterproof makeup right off your face, pour a little Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water onto a cotton pad, wipe your face, and be amazed. For delicate skin around your eyes, use Micellar Oil-Infused Cleansing Water for Delicate Skin and Eyes.

Step 2: Cleanse
If you’ve used micellar water, you don’t need to wash your face again as your skin will already be clean; Micellar water is formulated so you don’t have to rinse after use. If you want to leave your skin feeling extra cleansed, why not try a light cleanser?

Step 3: Tone or exfoliate
As micellar water actually draws out the impurities from your pores and the dirt from the surface of your skin, toning is another step that can be skipped if you incorporate this versatile product into your skin care routine. However, you should use a gentle exfoliating cream, light scrub or konjac sponge to remove dead skin, as needed. Pure Active 3 in 1 purifies, exfoliates and mattifies skin thanks to its expertly crafted formula containing zinc, pumice and clay.

Step 4: Moisturise
Now you’re almost done with your routine and your skin’s already glowing! To keep it that way for the rest of the day, apply a moisturiser that’s suited to your skin type: dry, oily, combination or sensitive. Dryer skin types tend to do better with richer, more concentrated creams, whereas lighter lotions and gels suit oily skin types.
